Alberta Health Services employees can participate in one or both of our Employee Giving Programs:
Monthly Employee 50/50 Draw
Each month, employees donate $10.00, through automatic payroll or post-dated cheques to
have their name entered into the draw box to win half of the jackpot. The Foundation keeps the
other half. The prize amount depends on the number of participants. This type of donation is
not eligible for a tax receipt nor can they earn a leaf on our Donor Recognition Wall because it
is a gaming event regulated through ALGC.

Employee Payroll Program
With the Employee Payroll Program, employees sign up to join this program and they choose
how much money to donate. The amount is then automatically deducted from their payroll
cheque each pay period. All funds donated in this program are eligible for a tax receipt at the
end of each year and employees can earn a leaf on our Donor Recognition Wall.
